Why this is important

For years we have been slowly killing the planet*. We can not afford to keep on doing so. Sooner or later this pointless destruction needs to stop – before it is too late. 

Don't worry, my message is not one of doom and gloom. Instead, I have good news, very good news, and great news.

The good news is that we are responsible for the trouble (i.e. damage, destruction, suffering) in the world. The very good news is that the fact that we are responsable for the trouble in the world this means that there is something we can do about it. And the great news is that we have it within our power the possibility to undo and turn around the damage, destruction and suffering and create balance, harmony, healing, and beauty in its place.

How do we do that? By creating the change in our own lives, first on the inside, and then on the outside. How do we do that? Keep reading and find out.

Warning and Disclaimer 

As you read this you might start to feel a little worse or uncomfortable before you start feeling good and feeling better, but, don't worry, this website is not about feeling bad. It's about positive change, transformation and empowerment. 

However, in order to make positive changes, the first thing you need to do is to take stock of the way things really are here and now. Unfortunately, admitting and focussing on the way things are here and now can sometimes be upsetting. Fortunately, this is usually only brief and temporary. Once we have identified what we want, where we are in relation to what we want, and what blocks us from obtaining what we want, we use tapping  to clear and resolve these blocks* to getting what we want. Then the possibility of reaching what you want becomes clearer and closer.

Having been warned now, by reading this website you are agreeing to become completely, totally and fully responsible for your own wellbeing. If you are not ready to take full responsibility for your own wellbeing then this website is probably not for you.

*I am referring predominantly to our own inner blocks. 


Tapping to save the planet? You must be joking!

I know that the idea of saving the world with tapping or energy techniques might sound absurd or ridiculous. But up until recently it would also have seemed just as ridiculous that tapping energy psychology techniques, like EFT, can help with the all of the following*: 

emotional issues, stress, stress-related physical pains, stress-related physical illnesses or diseases, weight loss, cravings, addictions, depression, trauma, asthma, allergies, cold and flu, diabetes, cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, fears, phobias, anxiety, and many other issues and even for improving sports performance, academic performance, improving eyesight, self-love, self-acceptance, self-esteem and forgiveness.

We now know, thanks to thousands of anecdotal reports, case studies, filmed or recorded sessions, and now even a growing body of scientific research into application of Meridian Tapping Techniques, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and Energy Psychology, that these modalities have been used effectively for all of the issues listed above and much more. Indeed the effectiveness and applications for these techniques continue to become evermore widespread. 

And if tapping on your face and body with your fingertips whilst saying some phrases can do all of that, then why not save the world?

*If you have sufficient experience with or exposure to EFT and Energy Psychology (Tapping), you most probably already know that it can be used for all of these issues and much more. Please note however, that this does not mean that Tapping works all the time for all of these issues. It doesn't. However, in some cases, Tapping has worked for all of these issues. 


My own challenge with the idea of Tapping to Save the Planet

The biggest challenge I had with writing Tapping to Save the Planet is that when we perform Tapping we aren't actually doing anything to bring about physical changes in the world. All we are doing is changing how we feel and how we think. But as I mention below, changing how we feel and think can make a big difference to the world in more than one way. 

As I was writing Tapping to Save the Planet I became aware of seemingly opposing beliefs which I could identify with. What's interesting is that I still have both of these beliefs but I no longer consider them as opposing. Here they are:

The first belief is that any person can achieve anything merely by getting vibrational resonance with that which she/he desires. 

I believe that absolutely anything is possible (including creating a healthy and happy life, environment and world) and that all you need to do in order to achieve any particular goal is to fully, completely, totally and one hundred percent, believe that you will achieve it. Only with this unwavering conviction can you be fully be in vibrational resonance with the achievement of this goal, and only then you will achieve it. 
 
For example, history books are full of great people who have changed the history of the world by doing what everyone else thought was impossible. These great people prove to us that if you truly believe in something, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will achieve it, and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it, despite the limitations in other people's minds, despite the fact that everyone else in the world believes that what you want to do is impossible, that you can and will achieve your goal, even against all odds. 

The other belief I have is that achieving anything requires action, and it is not enough to merely believe in it, but, rather that you need to actually do something about it.

There are real, physical actions which must be performed in the attainment of any goal  (including creating a healthy and happy life, environment and world). Furthermore, reaching certain goals requires time, planning, perseverance, commitment and hard work. You can believe and dream and wish and imagine and do affirmations until you go blue in the face, but until you take action and actually do something, you can't reach your goal.

For example, if you have weeds in your garden, it isn't enough to just imagine your garden free of weeds for the weeds to be gone. You could sit in your living room and visualise and imagine and affirm that “there are no weeds in my garden, there are no weeds in my garden” or perhaps even a positive affirmation like “my garden is filled only with beautiful plants that I love, my garden is filled only with beautiful plants that I love”

But if you think that just doing that will take care of the weeds and get your garden sorted out, you're having yourself on. If there are weeds in the garden and want them gone, you need to actually physically pull them. Of course you could ask somebody else to do it, but that is still an action and you could of course use herbicide, but that is still an action, and what is more the planet would rather you didn’t. :-)

Another example is when an architect designs a building; if she merely believes that it is possible to build a building and merely imagines or visualises the end result but takes no further action, the building will not get built. She still has to physically draw up the plans, and the builders have to physically build the building. 

Some people see the first belief that anything is possible by merely believing it is and getting into vibrational resonance with the goal as being unrealistic, or as having your head amongst the clouds. Well if that is the case, then in my opinion if we are to reach our full potential we need to have our head amongst the clouds so we can take advantage of the amazing power of our imagination. After all, even Einstein said “imagination is more important than knowledge”. This is because it is only through the power of imagination, or dreaming, that new realities can be created.

Other people refer to the second belief as being limited and too mechanical. And whilst I admit that it sounds more practical, pragmatic, down to earth, “real world” approach as keeping your feet on the ground. If that is the case, the I also believe that in order for us to reach our full potential we need to keep our feet on the ground.

What I have come to realise is that one belief does not exclude the other, but rather, the actually support the same notion. You can have, do, be, attract, manifest, create anything you wish, provided you are in vibrational alignment with that which you wish. And part of being in vibrational resonance with a goal is the necessary taking action toward the achievement of that goal. And sometimes there is a lot of action which needs to be performed before a given goal can be achieved.

Having the knowledge that everything is possible and that action is required to accomplish it, you are able to have you head in the clouds and your feet on the ground at the same time. 

And both are important because whilst I mentioned above that the history of the world is full of dreamers who were able to achieve that which everyone else deemed impossible what I did not mention was that for every one of these great dreamers, who have achieved what everyone else deemed impossible, there are probably thousands of people who never manage to realise or reach their dreams. 

So we ought to dream and be open to the idea of Tapping to Save the Planet providing amazing vibrational and energetic changes which could even lead to reaching vibrational resonance with that which we wish such as health, harmony, beauty, peace, love and wellbeing. But at the same time we also need to be pragmatic, practical, and know that changing our energy by how we feel and think is only part of the solution but that we also need to change our energy through our actions and behaviour. Tapping can help on both levels.


What needs to happen in order to save the planet?

Put simply, in order to save the planet, we need to stop doing what's bad for or damaging for planet, or, at the very least, do much less of what's bad for the planet. And we also need to start doing what's good for, or healing for the planet, or at the very least, do much more of what's good for the planet.

In other words, we need to change our actions and our behaviour.

Moreover along with changing our actions and changing our behaviour, we also need to effect a change in consciousness, an energetic change on a quantum level.

What do I mean by consciousness? The concept consciousness is not always the easiest thing for us to grasp. So, in order to help you understand what I am referring to, here are some synonyms: awareness, knowing, knowingness, state of mind, state of cognition. 

People who know tapping are very aware of how it can often have positive effects on one's state of mind, providing positive cognitive shifts causing you to think differently about things, feel differently about things, and altering one's perception and allows greater insight, a more balanced or healthy perspective, thus altering ones perception, understanding and ultimately consciousness.


How can tapping bring about behavioural change whilst bringing about changes in consciousness? 

Our behaviour is driven and determined by our feelings, emotions, attitudes, thoughts and beliefs (often which are unconscious). So, in order to create significant behavioural change, we need to use a tool which can address all of these levels. Tapping can bring about shifts and changes to all of these lvels; feelings, emotions, attitudes, thoughts and beliefs and behaviour.

Our beliefs, thoughts, attitudes, feelings, emotions and behaviours are all connected and each one effects and influences each and every other, and  a change to any one of these can influence every other. So simply clearing up a stuck or negative thinking pattern can free up and change the feeling patterns which were connected to that thinking pattern and vice versa. In this, in turn, resolves or change the behaviour which was associated to that thinking/feeling pattern. 

Here are a few specific examples from the list of issues which tapping can address which was previously mentioned. In each of these examples we can see how the changes in behaviours, or physical changes, are preceded by changes in emotions, attitudes, thoughts and beliefs.

For example, before a person who has a public speaking phobia will ever be able to stand up and confidently and comfortably address a group people (new behaviour), they must first address the fear (emotion) and possibly the internal voice that says “public speaking is extremely scary, threatening, and something that I am no good at” (thoughts and beliefs). When the emotion is one of ease and the thoughts are “public speaking isn't so bad” and the belief is “I can speak in public and feel calm too”, then the behaviour can change and they can actually speak in public. 

So too when weight loss is brought about through tapping, first there are mental and emotional changes which lead to changes in behaviour and physical changes. Tapping aims to resolve the emotions which lead to cravings, emotional eating or overeating, such as, overeating in order to try to fill up the hole caused by sadness, eating to stuff down anger, overeating or insatiable eating caused by dissatisfaction, emotional eating caused by boredom, cravings which are anxiety driven. Plus tapping can target any negative associations with topics such as food, diet, exercise etc. and in this way people are able to first change how they think and feel about these topics and then are also able to change their actions and behaviour, and this leads to physical changes. 

This process is very similar for other addictions too, whereby the tapping process can facilitate healthier and more functional thoughts, feelings and emotions by addressing the underlying unresolved emotions which are the drivers of the addictive behaviour. Once these underlying emotions have been resolved the person is freer to choose healthier behaviours and actions. 

Even improving sports performance with tapping consists primarily of addressing and resolving mental and emotional blocks to performance such as self doubt, fear, feeling inferior, negative thinking, lack of focus. And once these mental and emotional blocks have been resolved physical changes in the form of improved performance can begin to be noticed.

So, as can be clearly seen from the examples of weight loss, public speaking, addictions and sports performance, tapping can provide changes to a person's actions and behaviours as well as changing their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, feelings and attitudes (consciousness). Exactly what the world needs; a change in consciousness as well as a change in actions.


Why does the world need a change in consciousness?

Changing your actions without first changing your consciousness (i.e. awareness, knowing, knowingness, state of mind, state of cognition) often does not provide the desired results.

Here are four scenarios which illustrate how this often happens; An obese person decides to sign up at a gym and get back to a healthy weight with a fit body for a new year's resolution. By the end of January, he has given up. A smoker decides to quit so throws out her packet of cigarettes. Three days later, following a fight with her boyfriend she buys another packet. A taxi driver who is prone to road rage swears that after this last episode, which caused him to lose a long-term customer, he needs to calm down. For a few days he maintains his cool until one day he screams at someone who cut him off in traffic. A person who arrives late chronically moves house so that they are closer to their job so as not get to work late. This works for the first two weeks but then the old pattern sets in and they go back to getting to work late.

In all of these cases the new actions or behaviours failed to last because the thinking and feeling patterns which caused them had not been addressed. You need to change the consciousness or awareness, or the way you think, in order to change the behaviour in order to solve the problem

Einstein said it best when he said "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."


What Tapping to Save the Planet is about

Tapping to Save the Planet is about how Tapping can be used to bring about positive change for the planet by resolving and overcoming blocks or limitations in the form of limiting beliefs, limiting thoughts, or limiting emotions such as fear, ignorance, denial, impotence, powerlessness, blame, shame, guilt, anger, resentment, sadness, negative thinking, resignation, self sabotage, resistance, disempowering beliefs etc. Thus providing mental/thinking changes and emotional/feeling changes (changes in consciousness) regarding the planetary conditions so that we are able to stop destroying our planet, and do what is required to save the planet, reduce suffering on the planet and to help make this a better place for everybody and everything (physical and behavioural changes).


What Tapping to Save the Planet is not about

Tapping to save the planet, has a focus is on what Tapping can do. As such, with the exception of a short list containing a few brief examples of some of the world's issues, Tapping to Save the Planet is not about and does not go into depth into either of the following two topics, despite the fact that they are directly related to the issue of saving the planet: 

1. Environmental facts or statistics which clearly point out why the earth needs to be saved and just how urgent the matter is.

2. What specific actions (behaviours) each person can take in helping turn things around.

Instead, each person can find out this information for herself/himself. People need to find their own way of contributing to making the world a better place and this is different for each and every person. However, despite the fact that Tapping to Save the Planet does not aim to give any specific answers, solutions, or suggestions as to how or what to do specifically,  in some cases valuable information, answers and solutions of what to do and what actions to take can come about as a result of the tapping which often provides clarity, inspiration and direction, besides the usual freedom and transformation which can arise as a result of tapping..


Save the world from what?


I just mentioned above that this website is about bringing about positive changes through the use of Tapping for planetary/global issues. Thus begs the question “What issues?” There are far to many to mention, and as I said, that is not the intention of this website.
However here is a brief list:
  • mass-scale deforestation and the dire effects that this has for the whole planet, for example in Australia over 75% of native rainforests have been destroyed, and the logging of rainforests is ongoing (remember that oxygen comes from plants) there is 30% less oxygen in the air we breathe compared to before the industrial revolution and the level of acidity in water has risen by 30%;
  • the massive decline in bee populations worldwide in recent years, scientists are concerned because we are dependent upon bees as they pollinate plants which we need for food and oxygen (no pollination means no crops, no crops means no food);
  • the ozone, greenhouse gas, global warming, melting glaciers, melting poles (much of the Arctic has already melted. Some estimates claim that the ice shelves have halved in thickness in recent years. Most experts agree that it is only a question of when the Arctic ice will completely disappear rather than if  it will) and the knock-on effects;
  • imbalances in the global ecosystem, regional ecosystems, practically every ecosystem on the planet is faced with issues ranging from minor to major and dire in nature; For example, over the last 30 to 40 years, coral cover in the Caribbean has declined by 80 percent and along the Great Barrier Reef by 50 percent. (Do the maths to work out how old you will be when coral reefs will be totally gone);
  • pollution in our air, water and land, (there are no longer any places in the world which are completely pollution free);
  • high levels of toxicity in the average city and the average family home;
  • extinction and endangerment of many thousands of species of plant life and animals, the official lists of endangered species contain over 20 thousand species (remember that each and every species is required for its individual ecosystem and the entire ecosystem of the planet, and that any time a species is removed that delicate balance is interrupted);
  • practically every country on every continent is faced with both minor and major environmental issues which are not about to get any better;
  • issues with land fill waste, toxic waste, run off waste (The Great Pacific Garbage Patch - in the middle of the Pacific Ocean - is considered the world's largest "landfill", and covers an area twice the size of the U.S. Each square mile of ocean is estimated to have 46,000 pieces of plastic floating in it);
  • overpopulation - the world population continues to increase (to unsustainable levels?);  
  • numerous major environmental disasters occur each year around the world with disastrous, long-lasting, irreversible consequences such as Fukishima, Chernobyl, the Gulf of Mexico, Baia Mare cyanide spill and many, many others;
  • unsustainable use, exploitation and depletion of the world's natural resources unfair, inappropriate, and imbalanced distribution and consumption of global wealth, health and resources (e.g. obesity epidemic whilst millions starve to death);

Then of course there are other issues which, whilst not being an imminent risk to the planet, the world would definitely be a better place without. Problems such as: crime, corruption, drugs, homelessness, the ever-increasing gap between rich and poor, millions dying of starvation, poor sanitary, lack of clean water, war and terrorism not to mention the threat posed by the weapons of mass destruction which exist now and the even more powerful weapons of mass destruction which future technologies will inevitably permit. 


But there's nothing wrong with the planet.

If you feel that there's nothing wrong with the world, even after having just read the section called "Save the world from what" , you may identify with one or more of the following beliefs:
  1. People who are worried about the future of the world are just alarmists who are making a big deal out of nothing.
  2. The changes/crisis which the world is going through is a natural phenomenon, such as the evolution of any planet or species, a form of natural selection.
  3. All we need to do in order to have a healthy planet is to imagine, believe, visualise and affirm that everything is fine and it will all be fine.
  4. There's no need to worry. We will find solutions when we really need to.
  5. So what if we all die! Who cares?

My comment on these thoughts: 
  1. I agree that some people who are worried about the future of the world are alarmists and I also agree that worrying is not going to help. Instead what is required is the courage to admit, acknowledge and look at the way things are and the wisdom to know that these things must change and confidence and faith that they can and will change and the determination to do what is required to make these changes a reality.
  2. It is true that everything is in a state of constant flux and change and also that change is a good thing. And it is also true that humans as a species, along with other species of plants and animals have incredible abilities to adapt changes in the environment. This adaptation is a part of evolution and natural selection. The problem is that the changes in the environment are too drastic, sudden and rapid to allow for adaptation. The global changes we are faced with such as ever-increasing levels of pollution, are occurring too rapidly for many species and ecosystems to be able to adapt and cope with. And if a species does not adapt quickly enough to the changes occurring in its environment, it goes extinct.
  3. If you know the Law of Attraction you may have already heard the saying “Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve”. I agree with this statement. Nevertheless, just because you can achieve something doesn't mean you will achieve it. For as I mentioned above, just believing on its own, is not enough. It needs to be backed by action. In fact the last six letters in attraction are a-c-t-i-o-n. Just by ignoring the weeds, or imagining or believing in a weed-free garden is not enough to have a beautiful garden. Action is required.
  4. It's true that there is no need to worry. Worrying doesn't help. It is also true that we need to start thinking about the course we are heading on now. Saying we will find a solution when we need to find one is like being on an enormous ship which is heading on a crash course with an iceberg. If you leave it till the last minute to start steering or putting the engines in reverse, it will be too late to avoid the imminent collision. By the time you realise that you're about to run into the iceberg you will be beyond the point of no return. We need to see the collision course we are heading on and start steering and/or putting the engines in reverse. The disastrous event of the sinking of the Titanic was a direct result of arrogance and ignorance. Moreover it could have been completely averted by merely heeding the warnings and opting for caution instead of thinking they were invincible. We are not invincible and the warning signs are here. Let's not wait until the iceberg is on top of us to start trying to change course.
  5. I care. I've got kids. Surely any person who has any children in their life cares.

If you doubt what I say about the state of the planet, and its future and our future, do some research and find out for yourself. Even if this website does nothing more than make you want to prove me wrong, and this causes you to find out how serious these matters really are, then it has already made a difference without even doing any transformational tapping.

If you would rather just ignore or deny this because it makes you feel bad to focus on it, or because you have other things to do, go to the beginning of the guided tapping because that is one of the first blocks that we address with the tapping. 

Finally, if I was wrong about this I would be very happy, but I really do believe that if we don't start to change our ways, sooner rather than later. It is obvious that a lot of what we are doing is bad for the planet, it only makes good sense to stop doing it.


What can you do about saving the planet?


Don't worry I am not going to ask you to do anything illegal, dangerous or extreme like intercepting whaling ships in a rubber dinghy, or splashing politicians with crude oil, or chaining yourself to trees in the rainforests of Tasmania. Whilst I can understand the passion which drives people to perform these acts, these extreme actions tend to be problem-focussed, and do not usually work. A paradoxical example of this is a protest against war (supposedly promoting peace) in which people are angrily and violently shouting and expressing their hatred toward politicians and military officials whom they blame for the war. This problem-focussed action, in which there is a lot of negative emotional energy, adds fuel to the fire and actually gives energy to the problem, thus strengthening the problem without providing any solution.

I am not even going to ask anybody to become an environmental activist, or to support Greenpeace, nor to pressure their local member of parliament to support the environment, nor am I going to ask people to vote differently. Of course there is action which needs to be taken, causes which need to be supported,  and political changes and industrial changes which need to be implemented, but when these actions are motivated by negative emotions such as fear, anger, worry, or thoughts of powerlessness, they are never as effective as action which comes from a place of peace, love, So, it is important to get your emotions and energy clear first and foremost, or at the very least, while taking proactive action.

And I won't even ask you to do any of the little things you can do to help to make a difference, such as recycling, reducing landfill waste, cutting down on your use of electricity, choosing clean or green energy sources if possible, using public transport where feasible, using fewer chemicals and replacing them with natural products. I will not make any specific suggestions as to what specific actions you could or should take. You can and will find out what you can do to help the world, but it is not the purpose of Tapping to save the Planet to tell you what to do. 

So now 

What you can do right now is to change your energy and your vibration about the planet (more on this later). You can change what you think, feel and believe and what you expect with regards to the planet. More than changes to what you do, Tapping to Save the Planet is about change on another level, action on a different level, a different kind of action.


Different kinds of action

There are two different kinds of action and both are required:

1.    Doing
This consists of things which we must physically do (i.e. physical actions which need to be performed) in order to bring about the changes we wish to see in the outer/physical world. This is the realm of “gross” actions or things that you can see with your eyes, hear with your ears or feel with your hands. Physical actions like eating, walking, talking are doing kind of action.,

2.    Being
This consists of Being a certain way rather than doing certain things. Our outer/physical world is a reflection of our inner/spiritual world of thoughts, beliefs and emotions. Thus, by healing and resolving the inner world of thoughts beliefs and emotions, our outer world (i.e. the external environment) can be healed and resolved also. This is the realm of “subtle” actions of things which may not be able to be seen or heard. Non physical actions like thoughts, beliefs, attitude, feelings, imagination, intention, are being kind of action.

Whilst tapping can lead people to actually physically change some of their behaviours and actions (Doing), this is not my primary intention or focus with tapping. Instead, Tapping to Save the Planet focuses on the second kind of “action” (Being). Tapping to Save the Planet is about the action of inner change which can, in turn, lead to outer change. 

Obviously, I am not saying that merely a little bit of tapping on meridian acupoints alone will automatically make the world's problem's disappear. Of course, a lot of action needs to be taken to bring about the necessary changes and this includes things which need to be done on the physical plane. However, as I mentioned above, a change in consciousness is also essential, otherwise, any action is likely to be mere symptom relief.

That is of such importance I’ll say that again. There are things which need to be done on the physical plane. However, a change in consciousness is also essential, otherwise, any action is likely to be mere symptom relief. 
Most people focus on the Doing instead of the Being, and whilst both are important, the Doing should come from the Being. Otherwise the doing will not be effective. That is why we need to take the Being action of resolving the feelings, energy, vibration, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, expectations, etc. before taking the Doing action.

Repeating Albert Einstein's words again: "You can not solve a problem with the same thinking with which it was created." You need to change your  thinking to create the solution. You need to change your consciousness to create the solution. Before we change our Doing action, we first need to change our Being action.


Inner change for outer change

First some bad news: You can't change the world. 

Now the good news: You can change yourself.

As Aldous Huxley, author of A Brave New World, put it “I wanted to change the world. But I have found that the only thing one can be sure of changing is oneself.”

And here's the very good news: By changing yourself, you can change the world.

As Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest teachers this planet has ever seen, said “Be the change you want to see in the world” Or in other words, by changing yourself, you can change the world.

We now know, thanks to quantum physics' “observer effect” and “wave-particle duality” , that by changing the way you look at things, the things you look at change. So by changing the way in which we look at or perceive the world, the world changes.  (It was discovered through experiments into the nature of matter, the stuff that the universe is made of, that the expectations of the observer can influence and change the results of the experiment. If they expected to see matter as consisting of waves, then waves is what they saw. However, if they expected to see matter as particles, then particles is what they saw. Similarly, when scientists made attempts to watch an electron and decide where it would go when fired, they found that wherever the observer anticipated it would show up is where it would show up.)

This means that our perceptions, expectations and beliefs effect and influence the world in a real physical way. Many people even say that our perception and expectations and thoughts beliefs actually create the world we experience. And that the world we experience is merely a direct reflection of what is within us, such as in the expression “As above so below. As within, so without.”

By changing our thinking we change ourselves. As the Buddha said “We become what we think. All that we are is the result of what we have thought.” 

So, our our thoughts become our reality. So in order change our reality, we need to change our consciousness, or in other words, our thoughts, beliefs, feelings, attitudes, expectations. And in order to make these changes in perception, beliefs, thoughts etc., we need to release, clear and resolve any negative or limiting beliefs, thinking and feeling. 

How do we make these changes to perception, thinking, feeling, and beliefs? Tapping.


If all we have to do to change the world is to change ourselves, then it should be easy to change the world, right?

Changing ourselves is the first step to changing the world. This is potentially a simple step, not necessarily easy, but simple. However, there is a catch. The catch is that most people don't really want to change. Instead, they want everything else to change. Most people want their circumstances to change but don't actually want to change themselves. What we forget is that we are the creators of our circumstances and that the outer world is a reflection of the inner world. Moreover we seem to forget that by changing ourselves, the circumstances change, or, at the very least, how we feel about those circumstances change. We stubbornly insist that the circumstances change. We do not want to do the changing and we do not want to have to "be the change" which could lead to the circumstances changing or could lead to us feeling differently about those circumstances.

Recently I was holding a workshop in a building with shared kitchen facilities and I saw a sign on the fridge door that poignantly got this message across. It said “Everybody wants to save the world but nobody wants to clean the tea room.”  

We want the world to change, i.e. we want the big things to change, but we don't want to do our little bit in making a small difference. What we often overlook is that when the big things change it usually happens as a result of lots of small things changing first. In fact, spectacular success, in any area of life, is usually the result of lots of unspectacular hard work, action, dedication, perseverance, faith, trial and error, and learning from mistakes. And behind all of these Doing changes there are often many subtle and invisible Being changes. Lots of little things which add up to one big thing. 

We needn't go looking for the big things which need to be changed and we don't need to travel to the other side of the world in order to help those who are suffering. We can start with the small things in our very own neighbourhood. And with Tapping to Save the Planet we don't even need to go as far as the neighbourhood to look for the problems to resolve and clear. You can start with your self. Tapping to Save the Planet is all about clearing and resolving your own suffering and clearing and resolving all and any thoughts feelings and beliefs. Instead of focussing on the problems out there in the world, when we tap to save the planet, we are really tapping to clear our own issues first and foremost. The healing of the planet begins with the healing of the self, on the inside first. 

In other words, we each need to clean our own inner "tea room". When you have begun clearing and resolving your own tea room, you can show others how they can follow your lead, and once everybody has cleared the issues within their individual tea rooms, all of these small changes and actions, which individually may seem unspectacular, can result in big and spectacular changes. 

But each person needs to work on clearing and resolving her or his own tea room issues first. Of course the big picture needs to be kept in mind (saving the world) but at the same time, we need to keep our feet on the ground and focus on the little seemingly unspectacular thing we can do right here, right now, that can make a difference, (cleaning our own inner tea room) i.e. changing how we are thinking, feeling and vibrating. 


If people ultimately don't want to change, there is no chance to bring about the necessary change in consciousness for the planet, right? 

It's true that we often resist or don't want to change and it's also true that even when we do want to change there is often subconscious resistance to changing. Fortunately, however, it's never been easier to overcome your resistance to changing and it's never been easier to transform and improve your self and your life than it is now. There are many ways in which this can be done, though in my opinion and experience, tapping is the easiest, most accessible, and most effective way for most people to address their resistance to change.

The funny thing is that despite not wanting to change we have no choice because everything in the universe is in a constant state of flux or change. What's exciting is that we can choose to be at the effect of things changing, i.e. noticing that things change and wondering why or how they change the way they do, or we can choose to be at cause, i.e. become a conscious co-creator of our life and reality and world.

It is extremely encouraging, for those who wish to take the step to becoming a conscious co-creator of their own lives, that we now have powerful, yet gentle tools, for facilitating subtle, yet profound change. Tapping is one such tool. It has never been so easy as it is now to change your self, change your life and change your world. 


Why Feeling Good is so important

I know I've already said this, but it is so worth getting, really getting, that I'll say it again: We create our reality. The outer world is a reflection of what we are thinking, feeling and believing on the inside. Our feelings or emotions about any specific topic indicate what our vibration or energy is about that topic.

As such, if whenever we think about the state or the plight of the world we feel any of the following: angry, worried, afraid, powerless, hopeless, impotent, frustrated, sad, depressed, sorry, sorrowful, guilty, blaming, ashamed or conflicted, then that is the energy vibration that we are sending out to the universe for it to reflect back to us as our reality which will probably contain things which will cause us to feel angry, worried, afraid, powerless, hopeless, impotent, frustrated, sad, depressed, sorry, sorrowful, guilty, blaming, ashamed or conflicted. 

However, if we feel peace, love, joy, gratitude, health, vitality, abundance, appreciation, compassion, forgiveness and balance regarding the world, then this is the energy we send to the world and this will be reflected back by things in our world which will enable us to feel peace, love, joy, gratitude, health, vitality, abundance, appreciation, compassion, forgiveness and balance. So it is imperative to get into a good feeling space if we want to help to heal the world. But when it comes to changing how we are feeling about the planet, we need to address how we are really feeling deep down about the planet and not kid ourselves with surface level positive thinking or affirmations.

How do we go from feeling bad about the world to feeling good about the world? Tapping, of course. 


Why positive thinking, affirmations, visualisation may not be enough

Positive thinking, affirmations and visualisations are all great tools so long as the feelings that you feel when you are doing them are in alignment with that which you are thinking, affirming or visualising. The problem is that often people try to use them as a deviation or distraction from what they are really feeling. 

Feeling good about the planet, so as to create a positive influence on a subtle energetic and vibrationally level, is not about faking how you feel, nor is it about positive thinking, nor pretending to be happy if you are not, and it is not about denying or ignoring how you are really feeling. 

Affirmations which are not aligned with your true thoughts, beliefs and emotions is a bit like sugar coating a mouldy, rotten cake or painting over a car which is rusting. I doesn't work. For example, simply saying "I have no weeds in my garden", when you know that you actually do have weeds in your garden, doesn't change the fact that you have weeds in your garden. Simply saying "I know that the planet is healing and I know everything will be fine." doesn't mean that this is true and doesn't mean that you actually believe it. If you truly believe it, and you truly feel the positive feelings associated with it, then it could be a very powerful affirmation. Otherwise, you're just having yourself on. Many times affirmations do not have the full alignment that is required. Tuning into your feelings and your inner voice will give you an idea of whether this is the case.


The importance of congruence and energetic alignment 

With Tapping to Save the Planet we are interested in getting to a place of congruence and alignment. So that your head, heart and gut are all aligned. Or in other words, so that what you are thinking, feeling, believing, imagining, saying are all in integrity and congruent with one another. Otherwise, the power of our intention is limited because we are sending an unclear intention energetically to the universe. However, when we are able to create good-feeling thoughts, beliefs, emotions, words, pictures which are all in harmony with one another, we are really and truly in a powerful state for creating the world we want to.  

The first step is to be totally honest about how we really feel. This might seem obvious or it may come as a surprise to you that admitting how you really feel is the first step to energetic congruence and alignment. Owning how you really feel also takes quite a bit of courage and humility if and when those feelings and emotions are unpleasant. It takes courage because often it is painful and does not feel good, and it requires humility because it is, in essence, admitting your own weakness and faults, which practically no one likes to do. The next step is to do the tapping process on whatever those feelings are in order to . (see the Tapping section for more on alignment)


Taking responsibility

In order for us to feel true freedom, in order for us to feel good, feel empowered, in order for us to become a conscious co-creator in our own life, we need to first accept one hundred per cent responsibility for EVERYthing in our life. This means not blaming, this means owning one's own feelings and accepting that we are each responsible for how we feel and that we are the only ones who can determine or change how we feel. 

At first, taking full responsibility for your life and how you feel can seem overwhelming, and, whilst it is challenging, it is also extremely empowering once you get the hang of it. (see the Tapping section for more on the concept of full responsibility)


Where the inspiration for this book came from 

I know that this may sound corny but the inspiration for the Tapping to Save the Planet project came to me after having watched the movie "Avatar". Or perhaps, like me, rather than thinking that it's corny you might think "well if one person can be moved from a movie to take some action to save the planet, imagine what a difference Tapping can make?" 

Actually, it wasn't all Avatar's doing. This issue has been close to my heart for many years. As a young boy when I used to watch TV shows or documentaries on animals, wildlife or nature I remember feeling in awe and wonder at the beauty of mother nature but also absolutely horrified and guilty and angry and ashamed and saddened about hearing that so many beautiful creatures were endangered, and would most likely become extinct, and that it was mankind's fault and that there was nothing I could do about it. 

Then, when in Avatar they referred to the earth as “The Dying Planet”,  it hit me just how accurate that is; Earth is a dying planet. I thought “How sad, how sorrowful, how ridiculous that a species' intelligence should evolve to the point that they kill the very place that supports their life, how stupid, how unnecessary” and once again I had the same old thought of powerlessness, "there's nothing I can do about it".

Then I realised how powerless and victim-sounding that thought was and then I thought "If everybody thinks like that, nothing will ever get done. But if each person does whatever they can, however small it may be, together this can make a huge difference.” and then the next disempowering thought came “But all I have to offer to make this world a little bit better is Tapping”, and this was followed by the thought “What do you mean ALL you have is Tapping? You have in your hands one of the most powerful personal transformation tools that the world has ever seen!” 
 
So I decided to share this message of how Tapping can make a difference to how we feel, think and act, and if we all do a little bit to change, together we can make a huge difference. It all starts with a bit of tapping.


How can tapping help?

When people have fewer disempowering levels of negative emotions in their lives, such as anger, shame, guilt, fear, anxiety, worry, sadness, depression, frustration, powerlessness, blame, victim-thinking, imbalance, disharmony, conflict,  they are able to experience more of the follwing positive emotions: peace, love, acceptance, empowerment, appreciation, gratitude, happiness, joy, fulfilment, sharing, oneness, compassion, empathy, generosity, connection, caring, altruism, faith, courage, self confidence, personal power, balance, harmony in their lives. 

Tapping can help us to balance, clear and resolve these negative emotions, leaving space for more of the underlying positive emotions to emerge. And when people are able to experience more of these positive emotions, they tend to live a life which reflects more peace, love, happiness, harmony etc, and, albeit in small way, they tend to create a world which reflects peace, love, happiness, harmony etc.

The more we are able to experience positive beliefs, thoughts and emotions about the world, and the more of these good feelings we feel in relation to the planet, the more we will tend to create a world which positively reflects that which we think, feel and believe. 


How to tap to save the planet

Tapping to Save the Planet consists of identifying the potential blocking, limiting, disempowering or negative thoughts, beliefs, feelings and emotions associated to the world and planet. Then we tap whilst tuning into these various aspects with the intention of clearing and balancing these negative or disempowering thoughts, feelings, emotions and beliefs. Once the negative and disempowering thoughts, beliefs and emotions have been resolved we then begin to tap into the underlying positive or empowering thoughts, feelings, emotions which begin to arise. 


Why we need to focus on the problem first

It's not that we particulary want or need to focus on the negative when beginning out tapping. What we do need to focus on is how we really feel. And when most people think about the challenges facing the world they do not feel positive emotions and this is very understandable. This means taht if we focus on how we really feel about the issue (in this case the world or the planet) and we feel bad about the issue, in essence we end up focussing on something that we feel bad about. The problem with this is that energetically and vibrationally our feeling bad only adds to the problem. We know energetically that if we want to create a healthy world on the outside, we need to be having healthy feelings, healthy thoughts, and healthy beliefs on the inside. But how can you get to a good feeling, when you feel bad about something? So should we all go around with a smile upon our face and pretend that there is no problem then? No, this is not being in alignment. It creates incongruence and inner conflict. What we need to do is to face how we really feel, even if this is unpleasant, and shift and transform that on a vibrational and energetic level. How? With Tapping. 

It is common sense that before going somewhere you need to know where you are now. It also stands true for solving a problem. In order to solve the problem, you usually need to know what the problem is, or, at least, that there is a problem that needs solving. For example when you go to googlemaps, in order to get directions for a road trip, you need to provide two essential points, 1. the starting point (where you are), and  2. the destination (where you want to go). So too when you wish to find a solution or overcome a problem, you need to know two essential points 1. the current situation, and, 2. the way you would like it to be instead of the way it is. 

When it comes to Tapping to Save the Planet we need to focus on 1. the current situation, and, if you are like most people the starting point with regards to how you feel about the planet will be "feeling bad" (a simplified term - we address the specific feelings in the tapping) and then also have in mind 2. the destination, i.e. how you would like to feel about the planet  which will probably be be "feeling good"  (a simplified term - we address the specific feelings in the tapping). 

It's not that you have to focus on the problem with Tapping, but it best to focus on the here-now-feeling and, as I mentioned, most people when really owning their feelings about the world's challenges feel some kind of bad-feeling thoughts, emotions or beliefs. 


The need for emotions to flow

When our emotions are able to flow and allowed to flow, we can experience emotional freedom, and this feels good. This does not mean that we never feel negative or unpleasant emotions, but rather that we admit and acknowledge and allow and accept appreciate and welcome and let flow and let go of either pushing down, pushing away any emotions or even trying to hold onto any emotions. Emotions are meant to flow freely, like the breath, regardless of which emotions they are, and when the emotions flow freely we feel good and we feel wellbeing.   

By identifying our feelings allowing our feelings about the planet to flow, we are able to

Not believing that Tapping can help the planet is the first issue to deal with because unless we are open to the idea that Tapping can help, we will not do any Tapping to begin with.

I agree that the idea of tapping to save the planet could sound a bit lofty, grandiose, pretentious, but if you think about it the idea of tapping for anything seems incredible. 

When I first heard that Tapping could resolve or overcome phobias, negative emotions, traumas, limiting beliefs, physical pain, and certain ailments, as well as for improving sports and academic performance, weight loss, addictions and more, I found it extremely hard to believe. 

But Tapping's track record, has proven to me, and most other experienced tappers, that it has the ability to effect profound positive changes in how people feel and think. And, as mentioned above, this healthier thinking and feeling leads to healthier and more empowered actions and behaviours in people. And, this means that the changes within that person occur on an energetic and vibrational level. And any energetic changes within one person effect the people around them and effect the environment around them. 

So that's how tapping can save the planet; causing energetic and vibrational changes on a personal level which effect, energetically and vibrationally, everything else in the universe.  

If the idea of effecting things in the universe energetically or vibrationally sounds a bit weird to you, you need to keep in mind that everything in the universe is made up of energy and information; everything in the universe is swimming in a soup of energy and information. Remember also that Tapping can effectively be done at a distance. This is called "Surrogate Tapping" and is the preferred procedure followed by most animal healers who use tap for the client (animal) at a distance. This makes use of the same principal as Reiki, Pranic Healing or prayer, all of which work through subtle energetic changes in the field of energy and information, or matrix.

Focussing on the problem
Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying the following:

1. Even though this is just stupid, I mean come on... tapping to save the world... overcoming phobias, trauma, depression, anxiety and pain is one thing, but I this is bordering on idiocy, I accept how this makes me feel.

2. Even though it is ridiculous to have such absurd expectations, I accept my thoughts, wishes, hopes and desires anyway.

3. Even though this tapping stuff can not possibly help the world at all, I can feel OK about doing it anyway.

Tapping on the following points whilst saying the following.  

Top   I think this is pointless.

EB   This is ridiculous.

SE   This will never work.

UE   I feel stupid doing this.

UN   What's the point to all this?

Ch   How can this possibly help?

CB   I don't like the idea of deluding yourself into thinking that Tapping can save the planet. 

UA   Tapping can never save the planet and thinking that it can is at worst dangerous, or, at best, stupid.

UB   Tapping might work for clearing and resolving and releasing limiting beliefs, traumas, pain, negative emotions, phobias, anxiety, fear, anger, frustration and much more, but it can not be used for saving the world.

Th   Helping global issues with Tapping is just wishful thinking.

IF   Dream on, dream on, tap along, tap along but you're just wasting your time. Why even bother?

MF   I can’t believe I am wasting my time with this tapping thing

BF   I really don't think tapping is going to do anything to save the planet.

Gam   I mean, how could it?


Focussing on the problem some more. 

Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying the following:

1. Even though tapping to save the planet may just be wishful thinking, childlike dreaming, and I don't like the idea of wasting my precious time on such frivolous activities, I accept how I feel and I love and accept and forgive myself.

2. Even though it is physically impossible for tapping to help improve things on a global or planetary level, perhaps it is possible energetically.

3. Even though I have a strong degree of scepticism, disbelief, and I seriously doubt that tapping can actually help in any way, I deeply and completely and wholly accept all of me, and I accept and honour my feelings, my thoughts and my beliefs.

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   Time to take a reality check. 

EB   Helllloooooo? Do you realise what you are saying here?

SE   Come on! Get real. You want to tap on some energy points on your body to save the world?

UE   Where's the science to back this up?

UN   It is physically impossible for some tapping to make any difference. It just plainly and simply can not work.

Ch   It won't work. And even if it did work there's no way we will know if it has worked or if it is working.

CB   I don't want to be a dreamer and I don't want to do this stupid tapping. It's pointless.

UA   And what if it doesn't work? Then what? You'll just go on tapping anyway I suppose. 

UB   And like I said, how do we know if it is working anyway?

Th   And what if it makes things worse?

IF   I don't want to waste my time. 

MF   I've got better things to do. Real things. Things that actually work. Things that can really make a difference.

BF   Not this nonsense about Tapping to Save the Planet.

Gam   That is one of the funniest things I’ve heard for a while.

Heal, Release, Clear, Transform

Take a deep breath in and, as you let the breath flow out naturally and calmly, say the following: 

“As I say the word freedom, I admit, acknowledge, allow, accept, appreciate, heal, release, clear, transform, let flow and totally let go off all and any doubt, scepticism, disbelief, judgement, criticism, closed-mindedness, negative or limiting or disempowering emotions, thoughts, beliefs or anything else in any way associated to tapping and its effectiveness and my benefiting from it and the planet benefiting from my benefiting from tapping.”

Take a deep breath in, imagine that you are smiling with your eyes, and as you allow yourself to breathe out naturally and calmly, say the following:  

“Freedom, freedom, freedom. Thank you.” 


Opening up to change, shift, transformation and letting go 

Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying following:

1. Even though though it might not work, and it might even be a waste of time, what if it actually does work? I choose to be open to at least try it out.

2. Even though I am not so sure about tapping to save the planet, anything is possible and miracles can happen.

3. Even though I still have some resistance to doing this tapping for the planet, and I still find it hard to believe that it will work, I am going to play with the tapping and have fun with it and be open to its healing anyway, because an open mind is better than a closed one.

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   What if I gave it a go despite my scepticism and doubt?

EB   What have I got to lose? 

SE   Even if it doesn't work, it won't do any harm. 

UE   And what if it actually does work?

UN   This tapping has surprised me before. It can do some pretty incredible things. 

Ch   It is easy to dismiss it as stupid or impossible. Just like people used to think it was impossible to fly, or that radio, television and telecommunications would be impossible. 

CB   So what if I could just suspend my disbelief for a moment?

UA   I know Tapping can empower people to overcome limitations, fears and blocks,

UB   And so it only makes sense that it could help me too,

Th   To overcome my own blocks to doing whatever I can, however great or small, to make the world a better place for all.

IF   So, I have decided that I am going to be open to doing whatever it takes, even if that means balancing my energies through meridian tapping. I might as well give it a try.

MF   They say that if you change your thoughts, feelings and vibration, that you change your reality and change your world. 

BF   I know that tapping can change how you feel and how you think, so it must change your vibration.

Gam   I'm going to stay open to the notion that tapping can change my vibration and that changing my vibration can change my reality. Maybe it can.

Now tapping into and stepping into the positive

Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying the following:

1. Even though I used to believe that it would not help at all, now I know that this is going to help me feel better and as I feel better, I think better, I do better and I create a better reality.

2. Especially because I am committed to doing the best I can, I love and respect and honour myself.

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   I know that tapping can cause changes for people. 

EB   Tapping can cause mental changes i.e. changes to how you think.

UE   And often we see this resulting in physical changes i.e. changes in physical symptoms.

IF   By changing myself on the inside, I can have a powerful positive impact on others

MF   And they can have a powerful positive impact on others, and then they can have a powerful positive impact on others, and they 
         on others, and they on others.

BF   But, it all starts with me.

Gam   It may be true that there's very little that I can do single-handedly to change the world, but that little I can do can have an 
            enormous positive impact. 

Tapping more into the positive now, as you tap through the points whilst saying following:

Top   My thoughts, feelings, words, deeds and action can have the effect like the ripple effect, the domino effect, the snowball effect, or the butterfly effect.

EB   Whereby something small, once set in motion, can end up being something very big. 

SE   And it can all start with a little tapping to help change the way I feel right now. 

UE   So I choose to be grateful and feel gratitude for the little bit I can do and the little changes I can make to how I feel. 

UN   Because as I change how I feel, I change my vibration.

Heal, Release, Clear, Transform

Take a deep breath in, imagine that you are smiling with your eyes, and as you let the breath flow out naturally and calmly, say the following: 

“As I say the word freedom I allow myself to feel good, positive and empowered about tapping and I find myself also feeling good about the positive effect that tapping can have for me personally and the positive effect that I can have on others and ultimately the world as a result of the changes which come about thanks to tapping.” 

Take a deep breath in, imagine that you are smiling with your eyes, and as you allow yourself to breathe out naturally and calmly, say the following:  

“Freedom, freedom, freedom. Thank you.” 

Issue # 2   There's nothing wrong with the planet   (denial, ignorance, fear of looking at the issues) 

One of the first issues which needs to be addressed is the belief that there is nothing wrong with planet. The reason it is important to address this belief early on in the piece is that so long as we are in denial of the problem, there is very little we can do to resolve it. And the very the very acknowledgement of any problem is actually the first essential step in beginning the healing/resolving process (more on this below).

It can also be a tricky belief to deal with because some people might think "Everything is fine at the moment." or "Right here, right now, everything is OK." and, in a sense, they are right, it is true that the world's problems aren't really having any noticeable effect on my life or your life right now, other than some minor effects that things like pollution may be having. However, this is not indicative of what is really going on. Just because everything appears fine on the surface level, doesn't mean that it is. Have you ever bitten into an apple which looked fine on the outside but which was rotten on the inside? Yuck! 

Take a building for example, it might look fine from the outside and look fine on the inside too, but if its foundations were unstable, or if it were structurally unsound, it could collapse without warning, and you would find out about the structural issues when it was too late. Or, if that building or a house had asbestos in it, but you didn't know that it was having any effect on you, you might find out years later, when it was too late. Or it could be just like a housing estate which had been built over an old toxic wasteland and it might appear to be fine, and then only years later, when it was too late, you might find out that it had drastic effects on you. Just like, in some cases, a dormant volcano might look like any other mountain and can give no signs of any activity and then one day can erupt totally unexpectedly.

In all of these examples, on the surface of the house, or building, or mountain, or apple, everything seems fine, but when you really look into matters, you can find out that everything is not all that OK. Ignoring the problems with the house, building or mountain can lead to devastating consequences. The apple would be merely unpleasant. :-)

It's the same with the planet too. On the surface everything looks fine, but if you look into it, there already are signs of the potential trouble which we will be unless things change, or unless we change things. If we ignore the signs, we could find out too late just how bad things were and realise, that we shouldn't have ignored and denied problem.  That is why it is so important to admit, acknowledge and recognise the problems facing the world. 

One of the key principles in NLP is that "a problem well stated is a problem half solved". This means that the simple act of identifying and defining a problem is an important step towards resolving that very problem. The same applies to the issues facing the planet. Simply by getting clear on exactly what the issue is, we are taking a positive step towards resolving it.

However, regarding the state of world, there is a lot of denial, or not wanting to admit or acknowledge that there is a problem, or not wanting to look at the problems which  face the planet, or choosing to ignore them. Ultimately, any ignorance or denial is a form of resistance, which is usually caused by fear, which can get in the way of finding a solution. 

The reason why this resistance, or fear, which shows up as denial or ignorance, is so prevalent is because focussing on how bad things are, can make you feel bad, especially if you think or believe that there's not much you can do about the problems. 

So, in order to avoid these bad feelings, many people just don't think about it. (There may also be some mis-information in the media regarding global issues which is due to conflicts of interest, but that is a topic for another for another arena and not the scope of this book/website).

Of course, turning a blind eye or pretending that nothing is wrong is not an effective way of implementing a positive solution. But neither is focusing on the problem and merely feeling worse. The key, when using tapping to save the planet, is to start by admitting, acknowledging, accepting the way things really are with the intention of getting clear on what the issue is and and becoming aware of any thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs that are connected to the issue. 

This simple act of admitting, acknowledging and accepting the way things really are begins the healing process by letting go of and releasing the first part of resistance. This initial layer of resistance which is resolved is the unwillingness or aversion to looking at and focussing on the problem. Ironically, beginning to focus on the problem (momentarily) is the very first step in becoming free of the problem and finding a solution.

How is this possible you may wonder? Because what you resist persists. In fact, tapping owes most of its effectiveness to the simple notion of acceptance and allowing. And the mere act of accepting and allowing is a form of releasing on its own. Or, in other words, the reason tapping is such a powerful tool for transformation, healing and problem solving is because tapping enables you to let go of resistance. More specifically, it enables you to let go of resisting the way things are. 

Of course, whenever you wish to overcome a problem you don't just keep on focussing on the problem. Similarly the goal is not to spend most of your average day thinking “Oh no! The planet is dying!” Instead, when you are faced with a problem, the best thing to do is know exactly what the problem is, know what your desired outcome is, i.e. what you want instead of the problem and then go about changing things. It's the same thing for planet. We need to first know what the problems are, know what we want or what our outcome is, and set about making the necessary changes. But, I repeat, it all starts with knowing the problem, not ignoring or denying it, or pretending it's not there. 

Here is a rather poignant story which gets this message across. It's about I remember hearing a story of how to boil a frog alive and it goes something like this:  If you throw a frog in boiling water, it jumps out so fast that it doesn't  get boiled alive. However, if you put the frog in cold water and slowly but gradually heat it, the frog is oblivious that the water temperature is continually rising and so it happily stays in the water and is boiled alive. (Please don't try this. Poor frogs.)

We are like frogs in water which is very slowly but gradually and continually warming up. We are comfortable enough with the way things are and, for the moment, the problem is not so bad that we can't bear it, and we are oblivious to the signs that things are getting so bad. So that we don't get boiled alive we need to wake up and realise what is happening.

Focussing on the problem

Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying the following:

1. Even though maybe I don't realise just how bad things are, and a part of me doesn't even want to realise just how bad things are, and I am afraid that if I really start looking into how serious matters are, I might find out some things that I would rather not know, I accept all of my thoughts and feelings.

2. Even though I'm concerned that if I focus on the world's problems, the world's problems will grow and get worse, I accept myself unconditionally with love and gratitude for who I am.

3. Even though I feel bad if I think about how many problems there are in the world and how much suffering there is in the world, and I’d rather not think about it, talk about it, focus on it or even acknowledge it, I choose to accept myself and accept how I feel anyway.

4. Even though there's nothing wrong with the world and I can't stand all these alarmists, I love and accept myself and I choose to be grateful that I can be calm, unlike the alarmists. Even though all these environmentalists are making a big fuss about nothing


Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   All this confusion. 
 
EB   All the world's problems.

SE   I feel so bad when I think about them.

UE   I don't want to focus on the negative things going on in the world.

UN   There is so much suffering on this planet.

Ch   I'd rather pretend like everything is OK.

CB   If I pretend there is no problem maybe it will go away.

UA   I get so upset and overwhelmed when I think of it all.

UB   What if nothing I can do will make any difference and I end up just feeling worse?

Th   What if thinking and focussing on the problems just makes them worse?

IF   What if ignoring or denying the problems just makes them worse?

MF   Ignorance is bliss. No it isn't, ignorance is ignorant. An ostrich which puts its head in the ground so as not to see the 
        approaching lion, ends up as the lion's lunch. By ignoring the weeds in your garden, the weeds grow and multiply.

BF   It's not that I'm afraid of the world's problems. It's just that there is nothing to be afraid of. There's nothing wrong with the world.

Gam   Or maybe there really is something wrong and I don't want to admit it because it feels better to believe everything's fine, or
            even just to pretend everything's fine. And what if that were dangerous?

Focussing on the problem some more

1. Even though there's nothing really wrong with the world and there's nothing to fear, there are just some people who are making a big fuss about nothing and getting worried for no good reason, I accept how I feel and I accept who I am.

2. Despite the fact that I’d rather be like an ostrich and stick my head in the sand, and have a false sense of security than know how bad things really are, and I would rather hear no evil, see no evil, I accept all of me,

3. Even though if I think about the world's problems I feel bad, and if I don't think about them I think I am just ignoring them, and if I try to think positive but then I feel like I'm denying how I really feel on a gut or heart level, I am open to finding a balance and resolution to this inner conflict and having peace inside and out.

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   They say that to solve the problem you need to define it first. 

EB   But I don't know how bad things are and I don't want to know either.

SE   I'd rather hear no evil and see no evil.

UE   Focussing on how bad things are makes me feel bad.

UN   And feeling bad won't help me, or anybody, or anything nor will it help the world.

Ch   Me feeling bad about the problem will just make the problem worse.

CB   I need to feel good about it. But feeling good won't help either.

UA   Maybe I should just not think about it, that way I won't feel anything about it

UB   I don't know what to do or how to feel. It's useless. It's all hopeless.

Th   There's no need to worry anyway.

IF   Yes there is, there's every reason to worry.

MF   But worrying won't help.

BF   But focussing on the problem and thinking about the problem  doesn't help.

Gam   And Ignoring the problem doesn't help denying that there is a problem doesn't help either. So what can I do?


Heal Release Clear Transform

Take a deep breath in and, as you let the breath flow out naturally and calmly, say the following: 

“As I say the word freedom, I admit, acknowledge, allow, accept, appreciate, heal, release, clear, transform, let flow and totally let go off all and any denial, fear, ignorance, resistance to admitting, seeing and acknowledging any issues with the planet or anything else in any way associated with these issues.”

Take a deep breath in, imagine that you are smiling with your eyes, and as you allow yourself to breathe out naturally and calmly, say the following:  

“Freedom, freedom, freedom. Thank you.” 

Opening up to change, shift and transformation and letting go 

1. Even though I feel better if I pretend everything is just fine, I know that the best way of releasing a problem is to admit it, acknowledge it, accept it, allow it to be, appreciate it and let go of all resistance to it and be free about the problem.

2. Even though a part of me is worried that if I love and accept and forgive myself, that nothing will be solved, I choose to remind myself that getting to a place of love and acceptance and forgiveness and peace doesn't mean not taking action. In fact it may free you to be able to take pro-active action instead of being re-active and be more productive and produce better results.

3. As I say the word freedom I admit, acknowledge, allow, accept, appreciate, heal, release, clear, transform and totally let go of all and any avoiding, ignoring, hiding from, being scared of or denying the way things really are... freedom, freedom, freedom. Thank you. 

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   I would rather concentrate about living in the now and right now everything is OK. So why all the fuss?

EB   But I also know that pretending everything is fine when deep down I know that it's not is not being in alignment, not being in 
        integrity, not being honest with myself about how I really feel deep down.

SE   For tapping to work best, you need to focus on the problem (i.e. think about it) whilst balancing the body's energy system (i.e.
         tapping).

UE   The trouble is that right now, the world's problems aren't really having any noticeable effect on my life. So why would I want to 
         think about it.

UN   Sure I feel bad when I focus on the problem, but I can tap for feeling bad and thus balance that feeling and balance that energy.

CH   And even though thinking about the suffering of the world makes me suffer too, I can tap for my own suffering and maybe 
        alleviate some of my own suffering.

CB   And that is a way for me to find out about what's going on in the world without feeling overwhelmed, and without denying or 
        ignoring how I really feel. 

UA   And that way I can feel a little bit better for two reasons: 1 because the tapping helps me feel better, 2. because I know I am 
        being honest with myself. And maybe a third reason: 3 I might be helping the planet energetically.

UB   And since me feeling bad will not help the world in any way, I might as well feel a lot better and a lot more empowered.

Th   Because if I feel empowered I will have the courage to admit the way things really are, and face the truth, and to do something 
        about creating a new reality. Freeing up my creative powers for the implementing of creative solutions.

IF   Instead of denying or hiding from reality, or sticking my head in the sand, just because it makes me uncomfortable, I will have       courage and power. 

MF   The courage and power to be able to do something about making positive changes in my life and in my world.

BF   I wish I had the courage to change that which I can change, the serenity to accept that which I can not change and the wisdom to 
        tell the difference.

Now stepping into the positive

Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying:

 
1. True masters, healers gurus, and great teachers have an amazing ability - which we can all learn - the gift of alchemy and transformation. 

2. They are able to stand in a place of disease and be with a vibration of health to stand in a place of conflict and be with a vibration of peace, to stand in a place of despair and be with a vibration of hope, to stand in a place of lack and be with a vibration of abundance, to stand in a place of a dying world and be with a vibration of a thriving world.

3. With the help of tools like tapping we are all able to do this alchemy and transformation. We do it by accepting the way things are and releasing any resistance to the way things are (because it is the resistance which creates it and holds it in place) and freeing up our creativity, faith, courage and determination. 

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top

EB   I am going to acknowledge and accept the way things are. 

SE And acknowledge and accept own my feelings.

UE I already feel clearer, freer and more empowered.

UN and by feeling freer and clearer and more empowered I can change myself for the better

Issue # 3 Resistance to change

Now that you have done the first two rounds of tapping it may be clearer for you not only that the world has issues which need to be addressed but also that tapping can actually make a difference. Plus you may also be becoming aware that you are the one who needs to do the changing first and foremost.

Tapping to save the planet is all about creating changes within yourself so that you can cause and create changes in the world around you. Becoming aware of this can be very empowering, and it can often bring up a new level of resistance to change. This next round of tapping is aimed towards resolving that resistance to change.

Focusing on the problem

Tapping on the side of the hand whilst saying the following:


1. Even though I might need to change, there's a part of me that doesn't want to change, I honour that part of me and thank it for doing what it thinks it needs to do to keep me happy and safe.

2. Even though I am resistant to change and I don't like changing know that I am loved anyway and I know that everything in the universe is in constant flux and change.

3. Even though I don't want to have to change, I want the world to change while I stay the same, I choose to change the way I think about and feel about change by acknowledging and appreciating that it is good for me and others and good for the world. 

Tapping on the following points whilst saying following:

Top   I am resisting changing.

EB   All this resistance to change.

SE   I am afraid of changing.

UE   All this fear of change.

UN   I don't want to change, but I might have to change.

Ch   I hate it when people tell me what I have to do. Nobody is going to tell me what to do. I refuse to change. 

CB   Anyway, I’d rather stay the way I am. I’d rather everything just stay the same.

UA   It might not be great the way it is but at least it's familiar.

UB   If I was meant to change, I wouldn't have so much resistance to changing. So maybe I'm not supposed to. Why can't it be easy?

Th   A part of me doesn’t want to change.

IF   It feels like a big part of me doesn't want to change.

MF   Change is scary. I am afraid of change. What if things get worse? What if I fail? What if I make a mistake?

BF   Changing feels dangerous because it because it feels unfamiliar. It threatens what I am used to.

Gam   In a way I want to change but I also want to be comfortable.

Focussing on the problem some more

1. Even though it's not fair, it's the worlds problem, not my problem. Why should I have to change? The world should change not me. I honour and respect myself just the same.

2. Even though the thought of changing myself sounds like and feels like such hard work, I accept how I feel with love and gratitude.

3. Even though I don't even know if changing is worth it anyway, what if I change and it doesn't work, I know that I am loved no matter what.

EB Why does it always have to be so hard?

SE Why can't other people do it for me?

CH And I'm tired of being the same. 

CB And I'm tired of being tired.

EB   Changing the way you are is one of the most difficult things in the world to do.

SE   I've tried changing before and it is such a hard thing to do. Why does it always have to be so hard?

UE Why can't other people do it for me? Why is it always up to me?

UN I'm tired of changing. I want everything else to change instead of me.

Ch   No I don't, I want everything to stay the same.

CB   No I don't, I am tired of everything being the same.

UA   I’m confused, I don't know if I want anything to change or or stay the same.

UB   Perhaps I should just give up trying to work it out and just change staying the same.

Th   Changing feels uncomfortable because it makes you get out of your comfort zones.

IF   I’d rather stay where I feel safe and comfortable.

MF   I don't want to change so I’m not going to change.

BF   But if I want things to change I must change. It's a good thing that I actually do want to change.

Gam   I wish I could resolve this conflict and just feel better and find a way to solve all of my problems and all the world's
            problems that easily and effortlessly without discomfort.

3. Even though change isn't always easy, come to think of it, neither is achieving any worthwhile deed, it requires some energy, and I really do want to see the achievement of a worthwhile deed, so I am glad that I  change my mind about changing.

EB Not all change is good, but I'm choosing to make good changes. 

SE I know that change isn't always easy but that doesn't mean that it's bad. 

UE It's just resistance. And a bit of resistance doesn’t mean that I can't change.

UN I know because I have changed before.

CH And some of that change wasn't easy, but it was still good for me.

CB So maybe I could appreciate how I feel and appreciate that I can make it easier by going with the flow of things. 

UA now that there is only one constant in the universe.... change.  

UB And when I think about the nature of things in the universe,  I am reminded that everything is either growing or decaying.
 
WR And that continual transformation, change and flux is healthy, whilst being stuck or stagnant is unhealthy. 

TH And that makes me want to change.

1. Even though I don't always embrace new things and change, and sometimes that's a good thing, I can still embrace change now anyway.

2. Even though some people find it hard to change or think it's hard to change, I can allow myself to change and allow it to be easy. 

3. Even though some people are afraid of change, I know that I am safe, right here and right now and that I can relax and that feels good.

EB I allow things to flow, transform, shift and change.

SE And I allow it to be easy

UE I appreciate how easy it can be to go with the flow when you allow yourself to go with the flow.

UN I am letting go of all of my resistance.

UA And as I change the way I look at things, the things I look at change

WR I thought change had to be a struggle. 

TH But I am learning just how smoothly things can go when you let go.

UN   I know because I have changed before.

Ch   And some of that change wasn't easy, but it was still good for me.

CB   So maybe I could appreciate how I feel and appreciate that I can make it easier by going with the flow of things. 

UA   After all, there is only one constant in the universe.... change, a constant state of flux.

UB   And when I think about the nature of things in the universe, I am reminded that everything is either growing or
         decaying.
Th   And that continual transformation, change and flux is healthy, whilst being stuck or stagnant is unhealthy.

IF   And that makes me want to change.

MF So I choose to let go of any resistance to change and I also release the fear of change.

BF Change is natural and change is healthy, and everything always changes.

Gam Things are always changing so I might as well embrace that change and go with the flow.

ISSUE # 4 FEAR      

Fear is a natural and healthy response (i.e. it is healthy when the level of fear is appropriate for the situation) which tells us to take action in times of danger. Whilst the positive intent of fear is to get you to take action so that you can be safe from danger, fear can also hold you back from taking action. In fact, it is the main cause for not taking action. Either because you are frozen by fear, or not experiencing enough of it. 

An example of an appropriate level of fear would be if a kangaroo is jumping across the highway at night when it notices two bright lights getting rapidly closer, it should experience fear and therefore hop away as fast as it can. But if the kangaroo does not feel any fear (perhaps due to being misinformed, misunderstanding, or plain ignorance) and decides to stop and gaze into the pretty lights, this will have dire consequences both for the kangaroo and the car. And so too if the kangaroo experiences so much fear that it becomes frozen by the fear and is unable to move. 

We dealt with the not enough fear as issue # 2 ignorance. Now we are dealing too much fear which can lead to becoming frozen by fear and not taking action. 

 whether this is fear of failure, fear of success, fear of disappointment, fear of the future, fear of consequences, fear that things are going to keep on getting worse or simply worry, 

To the extent that we are able to transform this fear we are able to become more empowered 
  (frozen by fear, finding out, fear of future, fear it's going to get worse, worry)

1. Even though I'm afraid that things are going to get worse before they get any better, I love and accept myself totally and completely.

2. Even though I fear that things could just keep on getting worse, but never get any better, I accept these thoughts, feelings and fears and I accept myself anyway.

CB We all should be scared. No, we all should be terrified.

UA But being scared doesn’t help. But I can't help being scared.  

UB Whenever I think about the future of the world, I get scared, for myself, for others and for the world itself. 

WR This fear doesn’t allow to see things the way they really are.

TH All this fear, and all these fears.

1. Even though I am concerned that this tapping might make things worse, or that it might not work at all, and then where will I be? I accept these feelings and I accept myself exactly as I am.

2. Even though I fear for my future my children's future and the future of world, I love and accept myself totally, fully, deeply, and completely. 

3. Even though I'm worried that it might be all too late, I accept how I feel anyway and I accept who I am.

EB Actually I’d rather not think about something that scares me. 

SE Because it really frightens me. But ignoring it won't make it go away.

UA Just the thought if it terrifies me.

TH And what if the tapping just makes it all worse?

Opening up to change and letting go 

1. Even though it is normal to be scared under these circumstances, I know that if I am able to stay calm that I am more resourceful.

2. Even though I understand why I am afraid of what the future may hold, I also know that my point of power is in the now so I choose to be present and have greater presence. Because by having greater presence, I have greater power. 

3. Even though fear can be debilitating and can cause you to freeze, I accept myself unconditionally with love and gratitude.

EB I could start to see that I am not in immediate danger right now.

SE As I read these words, I am not at risk of dying or being killed.

UE My survival is not threatened this very minute.

UN So I can breathe easy for a little while.

CH Knowing that have a fear/stress/adrenal fight/flight/freeze response is not called for in this exact moment and will not help me to cope better right now.

CB And this means that I can relax now and calmly collect my 

UA But that doesn't mean that I ignore the insidious, lurking, imminent, latent indirect, threat. , 

UB but rather that I can see things clearly as they really are and acknowledge what needs to be addressed,  

WR admit how I feel about it (even if it doesn’t feel good) and own those feelings as my own, knowing that I created them

TH and appreciate that there is something I can do about it.

Now stepping in the positive

1. As I say the word freedom I allow this all of this fear and any of its causes or effects to be balanced, released, cleared, transformed, resolve as I now let go of all and any resistance... freedom, freedom, freedom. Thank you.

Even though governments and big industry need to be the ones to implement the changes, such as reducing and eliminating pollution, and outlawing the destruction of natural environments, such as rainforests, as they are the only ones who can do anything about making a serious difference for the world's problems, I choose to acknowledge and appreciate my own personal power and the power of each and every individual and thus our collective power.

And naturally I have a computer, a mobile phone, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a house, and they all use electricity which comes from fossil fuels and lead to the depletion of the earth’s natural resources, pollution, the greenhouse effect, global warming, electromagnetic pollution...... 
and when they stop working I  throw them out and the batteries that power them including the dangerous chemicals in the batteries as well as in some of the electronic components and these..... 
and I use detergents, and soap, and I and I buy things which come in packaging, boxes, bags, wrapped in paper or plastic, which I throw out and this becomes land fill and adds to pollute the world.........
and I throw out my old shoes and clothes when they are worn out or out of fashion, buts it's not my fault that the shops put so much packaging on things, and I can't get around with shoes with holes in them.....
OK I admit it. I am part of the problem. I add to things but I can't do anything about it, it's not my fault.  Come to think of it I am in part responsible.

- Separation  (everybody is too selfish so I will be too)
Shift to:

ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country were almost wise words. They would have been truly wise if instead of the  word country, he had said world. Ask yourself why are you here. You are here to manifest the beauty of the universe which you are. Just like every other being in this universe you are manifestation of beauty and love and your role in this world is to contribute to making this world a better place. We all will leave this life and leave this world. Will you leave it better than how you found it?

In NLP they speak about doing an 'ecology check' with each goal you set. This is done by asking yourself the three questions “Is it good for me, good for others and good for the planet?”

But you don't create the solution with the same mindset or way of thinking that you create the problem. There is a need for a paradigm shift

A few months ago I saw a sign on a fridge door in the tea room/kitchen facilities in the building where I was running a workshop. The sign said 'Everybody wants to save the planet but nobody wants to clean the tea room.'

I thought about how funny and how true that was. Saving the world doesn't necessarily mean going off to the oceans, hills or forest to save endangered species or protesting whenever the world's political leaders convene in one of the world's major cities. Sure you can do that too if that is your calling but you can also start by simply cleaning the tea room. Then you could go on to do your part in saving the planet by being nice to someone in your own family, then by being nice to a neighbour, then someone else you know, then someone you don't know, then by getting informed about green household products, alternative energy, and many other ways of reducing your carbon imprint. 

A few months on ago, in the tea room at a venue where I was running a workshop I saw the sign “Everyone wants to save the world but nobody wants to clean up the tea room.” and I thought about how true that is.

We want there to be world peace but we can't even get on with our own neighbours or family.  We want the world to be free of toxic chemicals yet we use soap, shampoo, deodorant, insect repellent and cosmetics which all contain toxic chemicals on our bodies. We use detergents, cleaning and fragrancing products, fly spray and cockroach baits which all contain toxic chemicals within our own house. And we use pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers which all contain toxic chemicals in our own backyards. 



Why is there so much ignorance and denial of the way things really are?

But in order to create the solution we need to first face the reality that we have done some damage, we are still doing damage and that if we keep on doing.

But in order to create the solution we need to first face the reality that we have done some damage, we are still doing damage and that if we keep on doing. 

It's all about taking responsibility a becoming responsible and totally empowered to do what is in each and every person's power to make this world a better place.....to turn it all around.

This is where EFT comes into it. Just like when using EFT to improve performance in any area, we need to remove the blocks and overcome the limiting thoughts, beliefs and emotions in order to come from a place of centred and empowered action.

Taking responsibility

The problem with wanting everything else to change, withoiut  is that you're not acknowledging the fact that everything else exists because you created it. The ancient healing art of Ho'oponopono utilises the concept of assuming one hundred percent responsibility for everything in your life and in your world.

Gandhi's phrase “you must be the change in your world points to that.” Quantum physics 

Whether you can grasp this concept or not, matters not but we all are co-creators of the world we live in and need to accept this responsibility and and realise our own creative powers and potential to be able to change that which we have created.

In order for any lasting and meaningful change to occur on the outer level of your world, it must first take place on the inner level of your world.

As Albert Einstein said “The problems that exist in the world today cannot be solved by the level of thinking that created them.” In other words, our thinking, i.e. consciousness, needs to change (inner change) if we are to create the solution (outer results). 
As I mentioned before, action is still required but it is must be action which comes from different thinking/consciousness, and as a result it must be different action. After all, quoting Einstein again “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

it's not so much what you do that counts as action counts but in order for action to be effective there needs to be a change in mindset indeed even a change in consciousness. We need to awaken to our ways and change our behaviour radically. If we try to take actions to solve our problems without changing the way we think the actions we take will have little or no lasting effect or impact on the state of the world. 

Spirituality and science are starting to agree on everything in the world being made up of energy.

No. And yes. No because we need to take action to bring about those changes we wish to see in our world. And yes because those actions will only take place once we are in resonance with the thoughts and beliefs of this world being a happy, healthy, safe, harmonious and beautiful place.

First comes the thought, emotion and belief, then comes the action. Don't believe me? Just take a look around at every single thing you see on this planet. From the chair you are sitting on to the computer you are using or the paper or pen or the table or the house, building, windows, lights and everything else in your surroundings and ask yourself where every one these things came from. A thought. An idea. That's right everything that has ever been created or done began as a thought, backed by belief and emotion. And the same goes for the actions necessary to save the planet, first comes the thinking, feeling and believing. And this is where EFT comes into the picture. Because anywhere that there is negative, limited, disempowering, or limiting beliefs, thoughts or emotions which lead to dysfunctional actions, poor performance or behaviour EFT can help to clear the cause (or imbalanced energy) and free things up for new and healthier choices to be made.

We know that EFT can be used in improving performance which basically just means that ..I don't think it is a matter of either one  or the other but rather I actually believe both of these need to take place in order for the world to heal. If we heal the inner we will still need to act upon this in the physical world
 
If we take a leaf out of one of the world's greatest and wisest people Mahatma Gandhi “You must be the change you wish to see in your world”

if we look at quantum physics we see that the results we obtain and what happens in our world is largely affected by our expectations “the observer effect”

One problem is that we all want to save the world but nobody wants to change themselves. 

but I believe the order of these two is very important 


like Einstein said you can not solve a problem with the same thinking that created the problem so the first thing that needs to change must be the mindset 


indeed Gary  Craig the creator of EFT coined the phrase try it on everything. And why not? It can't do any harm and just might surprise us at how much good it can do. Perhaps we should adopt Carol Look's approach “I really believe anything is possible now”

Gary Craig, the creator of EFT, when asked about his views on the bigger picture for EFT, spoke of how he saw how it could be used for transformation on a global scale. Indeed he even called EFT a “Universal healing aid”. 

Gary said that he sees EFT as being able to assist us in taking an important step in our spiritual evolution because as we resolve fears, angers, sadness, stress, anxiety, guilt, blame, powerlessness, with EFT, we open ourselves up to being ale to experience true peace, love, joy, light, forgiveness, gratitude, appreciation and connection to source, from whence all healing takes place. When we are stuck in the reactive stress mode of negative emotions, we are unlikely to access these higher states of existence and unlikely to implement the necessary global changes. Healing one wound and one hurt at a time, step by step, is how EFT can do this.

Dawson Church, who has taken over the role of EFT research since Gary Craig's retirement, recently said “We can make a real dent in human suffering this way. Liberating that emotional energy frees up the creative capacities of human consciousness in ways that can influence the future of our species and the whole world!”

First of all you should be aware of the belief many scientists hold that time is not linear as we perceive it. In other words, many theories exist that time does not move from point A to point B the way we experience it; in fact time does not really exist at all as a natural law.
Time is a construct. It’s a phenomenon we as humans agree on as a way of managing our lives and the world around us. The truth is everything that could happen is happening right now, and our conscious minds identify and separate these events into different moments and possibilities.
In simpler terms, endless possibilities are actually taking place right now in an unlimited number of dimensions, or universes. And the human mind is consciously aware of only one of these realities at a time, thus resulting in the illusion of time progressing moment to moment.
Hugh Everett was among the first researchers to popularize this idea through the Relative State Formulation. Later Bryce Seligman DeWitt renamed this formulation the Many-Worlds-Theory.
Some people also call this belief in infinite dimensions or realities the Multiple Worlds Theory. Physicist John Wheeler, among many others, suggests that each of us chooses the reality or universe to observe from moment to moment, thereby creating our own distinct reality.
Think about this for a moment. Right now, as you read this article, you are observing/occupying a specific “timeline” or dimension; you have a job, a home, friends, hobbies, etc. But there could also exist simultaneously another dimension or reality where you are a multi-millionaire, or one where you have your ideal body, or one where you live happily with your dream mate.


An interesting study conducted by cardiologist Randolph Byrd in 1988 was designed to determine 
the effects of prayer (a form of intentional healing) on patients in the Coronary Care Unit at San 
Francisco General Hospital over a 10-month period. This was a rigidly designed and randomized, 
double blind experiment. A computer randomly assigned which of the 383 newly admitted 
patients involved in the study would be prayed-for, and which would not. The statistically 
significant finding of this study was that prayed- for patients were five times less likely to require 
antibiotics, and three times less likely to develop pulmonary oedema. None of the prayed-for 
patients required endotracheal intubation (where a tube is placed in the patient's throat), whereas 
12 of the non-prayed for patients required this procedure. This study then led to many more. 
More recently the work of Doctor Emoto (Founder of Hado) and Dr Ihaleakala Hew Len 
(Hooponopono Guide) has been gaining popularity. They both suggest that through self -
responsibility and loving intention we heal the world.
Dr Ihaleakala Hew Len shares, “What works ultimately, is when I realize that the world is within 
me, and that to change the world, I have to change it within myself.  I have to change whatever is 
going on in me (my memories), which requires taking 100% responsibility.”
Dr. Masaru Emoto wrote in the Water Ceremony invitation for the radiated waters of Fukoshima,
“Over twenty years research of hado measuring and water crystal photographic technology, I have 
been witnessing that water can turn positive when it receives pure vibration of human prayer no 
matter how far away it is...Energy formula of Albert Einstein, E=MC2 really means that Energy = 
number of people and the square of people’s consciousness. Now is the time to understand the 
true meaning. Let us all join the prayer ceremony as fellow citizens of the planet earth...to find away out the crisis of this planet

As I say the word freedom I open myself up to being able to teach the heal, release, clear and transform technique to millions of people and I open up my own consciousness, the world's consciousness and people's consciousness and I clear anything in me, anything in the world, or anything in the collective or super consciousness so that this technique is received by millions of people. I am a very spiritual person but I do not deny my physicality. I have a body and so do you. 
To truly be in vibrational resonance with something you must truly come into alignment with it.
